Health & safety guidelines
Under 18 piercing REQUIREMENTs
• IBTC will only pierce EARS on those under 18. No other body piercing is permitted unless over 18
• IBTC only pierces ears for those in Kindergarten or older. Your child must also agree to BE pierced. We pierce with CONSENT. What does that mean? We will not hold a child down a pierce them. If they get one ear pierced and decide, it’s too scary for the second, we will not force Any piercings. We respect them.
• FOR THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN: We need YOUR valid ID. We will not pierce without it.
• FOR THE MINOR GETTING PIERCED: A birth certificate is required to prove both theMINOR’Ss age and the relationship to the parent/guardian. (If their names differ or to verify guardianship)
• If the minor has their own GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID (school ID, state ID, passport), it may be accepted as ID if the matched the PARENT'S name or address.
• If the accompanying adult is not the birth parent, then guardianship documents like adoption papers or power of attorney are required.
